Come May

Mannnn, it's been ages since I last blogged about something non-wedding'y'. I guess that's all I've been thinking about nowadays; my mind's preoccupied with flowers...centerpieces and table runners. Just to name a few. It actually feels good to be writing about something else now. Phew.

Okay, so I am sooo looking forward to May like you won't believe. Why? Because I'M GOING ON A FRIGGIN BREAK. woooohoooooo! Told my principal that I wanted to leave/take a break in May till whenever. The reason why I typed 'leave/take a break', is because I'm not 100% sure yet if I'll be leaving Eton for good. My principal wants me to come back in August. Part of me is "Yeah right I'm coming back!!" and part of me is "Phew at least I have a job waiting for me after the break!" I admit, I may be contemplating to come back because I know I'll miss my students. But I'm not sure if I want to be trapped in a job where you can't even take leave or go on a holiday. The feeling really leaves you miserable. What you take forgranted in a normal office job really seems like a LUXURY when you're teaching in Eton. I want to be able to book a few holidays and jet set with my soon-to-be husband. I mean, what's the point of living if you don't enjoy life and do something fun once in a while?

So here's to May and a much needed looooong break. Need to start scheduling some pampering spa sessions soon! Anyone up for it? :)
